Riding Sunbeams hailed as top 50 climate tech start-up by PwC

We’re thrilled to be featured in PwC’s recent Net Zero Future50 report, which identifies 50 innovative start-ups with the potential to make a significant difference in the battle against climate change.

According to the report, the UK has established itself as a leading global hub for climate tech innovation, ranking third globally for total Venture Capital (VC) funding in climate tech from 2013 to the first half of 2021.

While Riding Sunbeams was recognised for its work to decarbonise the transport industry, start-ups from across the climate tech space – including industry, agriculture and manufacturing – were selected from PwC’s Climate Tech Investment Index, a database of over 3,000 climate tech companies.

Clare Marten White, Chief Operating Officer at Riding Sunbeams, said: “It’s brilliant to be recognised alongside some impressive climate tech start-ups for our work to decarbonise the UK’s rail networks. We’re extremely passionate about what we do and really believe that the future of transport is green. We’ll continue working towards achieving this goal and involving as many track-side communities as we can in the process too.”

PwC is a network of professional services firms, committed to delivering quality in assurance, advisory and tax services.
