LEO MURRAY
Chief Executive
Leo Murray is co-founder and director of innovation at climate change charity Possible (formerly 10:10 Climate Action), one of Riding Sunbeams’ two parent companies. Leo is a serial social entrepreneur and campaign strategist with 15 years experience of sustainability practice and public and political advocacy for low carbon energy and transport solutions.
MAHAK agrawal
India Lead
Mahak is an urban planner, climate scientist, public policy and sustainability strategist, artist, and communicator. She brings over a decade of experience across three continents, having worked with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, UN Environment Programme, World Bank Group, and European Climate Foundation. Mahak has served twice as an Expert Reviewer for the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and contributed to global dialogues on climate resilience, sustainability, and public well-being. She also serves as a Board Member (Urban Adaptation) of the ITA-AITES Committee on Underground Space (ITACUS) to drive dialogues and design solutions for urban sustainability with underground space use at its core.

Partnerships Director
Ollie is the Chief Executive of Community Energy South (CES), one of Riding Sunbeams’ two parent companies. Ollie co-established CES as a regional umbrella group in 2013 to support the growth of the community energy sector across the South East region. Ollie initiated and project managed the Riding Sunbeams feasibility stage during 2018 working closely with Network Rail and established the First Light 2019 programme.
Rohith Menon
Power Systems Engineer
Rohith is a Power Systems Engineer at Riding Sunbeams , where he helps design and model systems that connect solar energy directly to railway networks. His work focuses on traction load flow modelling that enable clean, reliable power for rail transport.
Before joining Riding Sunbeams, Rohith gained experience in managing large-scale digital infrastructure and automation projects, building a strong foundation in systems reliability and performance. With a background in both power systems and IT, he brings technical precision and a systems-led mindset to advancing sustainable transport solutions.

Vijay bhopal
Non-Executive Director
Vijay specialises in energy and agri-tech focused social enterprise and use of technology within climate and development challenges. He has been an entrepreneur since launching his first business, the community energy consultancy Scene, in 2011. In 2014 Vijay led Scene into the world of energy access - taking an interest in both the off-grid electricity and clean cooking sectors. This work was supported through various Innovate UK co-funded projects on the themes of off-grid energy and ICT, based in Chile, India and Tanzania. Outputs from these projects were commercialised through spin-out companies including Inclusive Energy, which he led as CEO until it was acquired by Sistema.bio, where he now serves as Product Director.
RICH FURNISS
Non-Executive Director
Rich has over 30 years of international experience in industry in both engineering and leadership positions. An electrical engineer by profession, he progressed through engineering leadership, supply chain, sales, and project management into business leadership roles.
